Candela's GentleLASE 755 nm alexandrite laser for hair removal allows treatments to be performed quickly, comfortably and effectively.. The Mini GentleLase Alexandrite is a laser with alexandrite crystal with a wavelength of 755 nm and its operation is based on the emission of an extremely intense and precise beam of light that passes through the epidermis and reaches deep tissue layers in which it is selectively absorbed by melanin. The melanin is the vehicle for guiding the laser beam to the deepest structures. Once there, there is a thermal reaction that will cause the destruction of the hair, the hair bulb and the vascular structures that support the hair, thus carrying out the selective photothermolysis process. This process is ensured by the fact that the laser has an Alexandrite crystal that works with a wavelength of 755 nm, ideal for the absorption of energy by the melanin.

The Mini GentleLase works with various levels of penetration through the use of different sizes of spacers. This fact becomes particularly important in the optimization of the treatment since it allows parameterizing it taking into account the skin color and hair density.
