Description:
The Covaris CP02 cryoPREP is an automated tissue extraction device for dry sample homogenization under cryogenic conditions. Designed for the controlled crushing of frozen biological sample material - e.g. Tissue, tumour samples or bone - the system enables reproducible and efficient pulverization without thermal stress.
The CP02 uses precisely controlled mechanical force to break up frozen samples in a dry state. This preserves sensitive biomolecules such as RNA, DNA, proteins and metabolites in their native state - ideal for downstream applications such as genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics and metabolomics.
The specially developed cryoPREP tools TT1, TT2 and TT05 are included which support different sample volumes and formats and thus offer maximum flexibility for different applications.
