Description:
The Bio-Rad GS-900 is a high-precision, calibrated densitometer for quantitative analysis of proteins, nucleic acids and other biomolecules on gel and membrane carriers. The system is optimized for professional blot and gel documentation and is ideal for applications in molecular biology, biochemistry, proteomics and clinical research.
With a high-sensitivity CCD camera, automatic calibration and a precise optical system, the GS-900 delivers reproducible, linear data over a wide dynamic range. The supplied Bio-Rad ImageLab software allows a comprehensive quantitative evaluation, including band analysis, volume determination, normalization and report generation.
The device supports a wide range of membrane and staining methods (e.g., Coomassie, Silver, Ponceau S, blotting with HRP/AP or dye conjugates) and provides reliable results even for weakly expressed targets.
