Platinum® Taq DNA 聚合酶对于 DNA 片段的自动"热启动"扩增来说非常理想，其特异性优于Taq DNA 聚合酶。 其来源于重组 Taq DNA 聚合酶，制备方法是用含有热不稳定抑制剂的单克隆抗体与 Taq DNA 聚合酶结合。 在 PCR 的最初变性步骤中，抑制剂变性，活性 Taq DNA 聚合酶释放到反应体系中。 Platinum® Taq ：

Platinum® Blue PCR SuperMix 是含有 Platinum® Taq DNA 聚合酶、dNTP、预混上样/示踪染料、缓冲液、镁和盐的 PCR master mix。 蓝色示踪缓冲液不会影响 PCR 效果。 PCR 循环之后，只需直接将 PCR 产物上样到琼脂糖凝胶上。

Platinum® Taq PCRx DNA 聚合酶是 Platinum® Taq DNA 聚合酶，与 PCRx Enhancer System 一起提供，以优化棘手和/或富含 GC 的模板的 PCR 效果。 具有 10X PCRx 扩增缓冲液的 10X PCRx 增强剂溶液 (10X PCRx Enhancer Solution with 10X PCRx Amplification Buffer) 可提供更高的引物特异性、更宽的镁离子浓度范围、更宽的退火温度范围并改善 Taq DNA 聚合酶的热稳定性。

应用： 复杂基因组、病毒和质粒模板 DNA 的扩增；以及 RT-PCR (1)。

单位定义： 在 74®C 下，一个单位的 Platinum® Taq DNA 聚合酶能在 30 分钟内将 10 nmol 脱氧核糖核酸掺入酸性可沉淀物质。

Platinum® Taqis supplied with 10X PCR buffer [200 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.4), 500 mM KCl], and 50 mM MgCl2.
Platinum® Taq PCRx DNA Polymerase is supplied with 10X PCR buffer, 50 mM MgCl2, 50 mM MgSO4, 10X PCRxEnhancer Solution, and 10X PCRx Amplification Buffer.
SuperMixes are supplied at a 1.1X concentration and contain Platinum® Taq, dNTPs, MgSO4,and buffer.
Platinum® Blue PCR SuperMix also contains loading/tracking dye.
