The KLA10 sequence contains three amino acids: lysine, leucine and alanine. According to the characteristics of cell-penetrating peptides, the lysine in the sequence is used to provide cations; and the more hydrophobic leucine and Alanine will promote the α-helix of the peptide to a certain extent, both of which can increase the efficiency of membrane penetration. The combination of hydrophilic and hydrophobic amino acids in the peptide sequence can reduce the difficulty of peptide synthesis.
