What is Biotin？

Biotin, also known as vitamin H, coenzyme R, and vitamin B7, is a water-soluble vitamin. It belongs to the B vitamin group and helps the body convert food into energy. Biotin is an essential nutrient for natural growth, development, and normal body functioning health. It helps improve the health of hair, eyes, skin, nails and is important for brain function.
Biotin can be involved in cell repair and regeneration and helps to improve the structure of keratin, the basic protein that makes up hair, skin and nails. Therefore, chronic deficiency of biotin may lead to hair loss, peeling and dry skin, as well as reduced immune function.
Biotin-rich foods include animal offal and egg yolks. If you do not eat enough of these foods, you can choose relevant dietary supplements to replenish biotin.
