The ELASTINITE super-elastic nitinol wire has two coatings. The TURBOCOAT coating is designed to maintain distal wire lubricity even during the longest of cases. SMOOTHGLIDE hydrophobic coating facilitates device movement over the proximal section of the wire.

The wire diameter is .014 and comes in lengths of 190 and 300 cm in either a J or straight tip.
