一般描述:柠檬酸铁铵(III)可作为试剂和铁前体用于多种有机反应和Fe₃O₄基纳米材料的制备。用柠檬酸和NH₄OH按不同比例处理Fe(OH)₃，可制备。

应用:柠檬酸铁铵可作为试剂，在HEPES(4-(2-羟乙基)-1-哌嗪乙磺酸)缓冲液环境下，从含铁细胞制备两亲性铁载体含铁细胞络合物。它还可以作为铁前体制备Fe₃O₄-碳点磁荧光杂化纳米颗粒。
