Applications
·Lappaconitine hydrobromide is a selective blocker of the TTX-sensitive Na+ channels, and does not influence the activation threshold of Na+ channels.
·Hydrobromide salt of (+)-Lappaconitine, a potential antitumor agent agent that induces HL-60 differentiation and apoptosis with analgesic activity as well.
·Lappaconitine hydrobromide is a diterpene alkaloid extracted from roots of Aconitum sinomantanum. It is a non-narcotic central nervous system analgesic. Lappaconitine also has antiarrhythmic and anti-inflammatory effect. Lappaconitine works as an inhibitor of tetrodotoxin-sensitive, voltage-dependent sodium channels. On the other hand, lappaconitine is reported as an organocatalyst for asymmetric α-hydroxylation of β-keto esters.
