Vinpocetine is a cerebrovascular dilator, which has a stronger effect than vinpocetine and selectively increases cerebral blood flow. It can enhance and improve the oxygen supply of the brain, promote metabolism, enhance the deformability of red blood cells, reduce blood viscosity, inhibit platelet aggregation, and improve the metabolism of brain tissue. Mainly used to treat cerebral infarction sequelae, cerebral hemorrhage sequelae, cerebral arteriosclerosis and so on. It is also used to treat retinal vascular sclerosis and vasospasm, deafness and vertigo in the elderly. Vinpocetine is a semi-synthetic vinpocetine derivative. The effect is similar to that of vincamine, which has a high selective dilation effect on cerebral vessels.
