Nitrendipine is a dihydropyridine calcium ion antagonist with the molecular formula C18H20N2O6 and number 39562-70-4. It is mainly used to treat hypertension and angina pectoris. By selectively blocking the calcium channels of v smooth muscle, it dilates peripheral arteries, reduces blood pressure, and improves myocardial blood supply.
