Bacitracin Methylene Disalicylate Soluble Powder is a water-soluble sodium salt of the antibiotic bacitracin methylene disalicylate, with a carrier.In the prevention and control of disease caused by organisms (Clostridium perfringens, Treponema hyodysenteriae, et.,al) susceptible to bacitracin methylene disalicylate. (21CFR, 520.154a).Bacitracin methylene disalicylate has a wide margin of safety. It has been administered to broiler and replacement chickens, growing turkeys and swine at rates 20 times the highest approved use levels with no adverse effects (FDA, 1999). And to growing quail at rates 10 times the highest approved use levels with no adverse effects (FDA, 1998). No withdrawal time is required.
