Peptone general description:
The peptone is produced by enzymatic digestion of high quality animal tissue, decolorization, concentration and spray drying process, It is used in the preparation of general culture media. Peptone Solubility:

It is easy to dissolve in water. The 2% water solution is clear, light yellow to brownish yellow. There is no precipitatation under high temperature and high pressure conditions with alkalinity and phosphates.
