□ Efficacy
Nosiheptide is highly active against gram positive organisms, e.g., Staphylococcus aureusand Bacillus subtilis.
Nosiheptide can repress the synthesis of bacteria protein, and inhibit the growth of bacteria in low concentration and kill bacteria in high concentration. Restraining the growth and reproduction of deleterious bacteria in intestine, Nosiheptide can promote the growth of chickens and pigs and improve feed efficiency.
□ Indications: Promote the growth of poultry and pig, and improve feed conversion rates.
□ Usage and dosage
Calculated as Nosiheptide.
Mixed with feed: for pig 2.5~20g per 1000kgs feed; for chicken 2.5g per 1000kgs feed.
□ Precautions: Only for pigs less than 70kg (except grown breeding pig).
□ Withdrawal period: 7 days for chicken/pig. Prohibited for laying hens in laying period.
□ Storage: Closed tightly, store in a cool and dry place.
□ Shelf life: 2 years.
□ Security
* Low toxicity to animal. The experiment of acute toxicity showed that the orall LD50 of nosiheptide was more than 13060 mg/kg body weight and the subcutaneous injection LD50 was more than 4160 mg/kg in rats. The experiment of chronic toxicity showed that rats fed the diets with 6000 mg/kg of Nosiheptide for 3 months had no abnormality in blood examination and blood chemistry test.
* No mutagenicity. The induced gene damaging experiment with Nosiheptide was conducted. There was no genic injury in Ames and microkernel examination.
* No teratogenicity. Teratogenicity was not observed in mice fed diets containing 1000, 2000 and 5000 mg/kg of Nosiheptide.
* Safety for animal. No abnormality was found in blood examination, reproductive and productive performance in chickens fed the diets with 0-250 mg/kg of Nosiheptide and piglets with 0-500 mg/kg of Nosiheptide.
* Safety for pigs. Pigs was fed the diets with 20~100 mg/kg of Nosiheptide for 28 days. No abnormal changes were observed in ingestion, action, respiratory and excretion. Moreover, no significant difference was found in blood physiological and biochemical indexes.
