MEGMTM BulletKitTM is optimized and readily available media kit giving researchers the confidence and the convenience of a system that works to support their cells. This is especially important for researchers who are utilizing normal breast cell lines as a stepping stone to primary HMEC cell culture. Working with the same media between cell lines and primary cells can reduce variability within the experiments and simplifies the shift for researchers. In addition, if primary HMECs are utilized as a side-by-side control with normal breast cell lines, the MEGMTM BulletKitTM media may also offer cost-benefits since customers can use the same media to support both cell types. |

- Savanur, et al. shows Lonza's HMECs were cultured in Lonza's MEGMTM Media alongside breast cancer cell lines in the respective media to understand the inhibitory effects of Lectin on proliferation of breast cancer cells
- Park, et. al. PLoS ONE 10(6) demonstrates how MCF-10A and MCF-12A were cultured in MEGMTMalongside breast cancer cell lines in their respective media to examine the effects of cold atmospheric plasma on epigenetic alterations
- Kmiecik, et al. 2015. PLoS ONE 10(5) shows MEGMTM Medium's compatibility with immortalized hTERT-HME1 cells in a study of MT3-overexpression on proliferation, invasiveness, migration,and tumorigenesis of breast cancer cells
