NutriVero VP1和NutriVero VP2这两种培养基是完全无血清（SFM: Serum Free Medium），也不包含任何人或动物来源的蛋白或者多肽（ACF: Animal Component Free），总体蛋白含量很低，其中NutriVero VP1专门为贴壁单层培养的Vero细胞而设计，而NutriVero VP2是为使用微载体悬浮培养的Vero细胞而设计。
