Cell saver system for recovering blood that has been spilled during surgery. The spilled blood is processed by the Cell Saver in a centrifuge to compact the red blood cells and remove cell tissue, platelets, activated coagulation factors, extracellular potassium, free hemoglobin, anticoagulant and cardioplegia. The washed, compacted red blood cells can then be returned to the patient, very good condition of use
