The new INUS S is a portable bone densitometer designed to assess fracture risk due to osteoporosis.

The INUS S bone densitometer provides fast, convenient and easy-to-use measurements. It also provides information on bone quality and fracture risks by measuring the speed of sound (SOS) and bandwidth ultrasound attenuation (BUA); and is applied to the calculation of the bone quality index (BQI).

Its low error rate allows it to perfectly assist in the initial diagnoses of osteoporosis, monitoring changes in the bone.
